The cheese knife is an instrument used for cutting slices or wedges of cheese. There are various types of knives depending on the type of cheese you wish to cut.
The hard cheese require a flat cheese knife which are larger in size and with a Sharp blade.
For younger cheeses, a perforated cheese knife should be used. Blade perforations prevent the cheese from sticking.
For better usage and performance it is recommended that the cheese knife be kept at moderate room temperature.

HOW TO CUT THE CHEESE DEPENDS BASICALLY ON ITS SHAPE AND SIZE
Round and squared soft cheeses, are cut into small triangular wedges.
Cylindrical cheeses are cut into two halves.
Bar or rolls, are cut into slices. Thickness of the slices is according to taste.
A ball of cheese is cut into quarters.
If it’s a large cheese, first cut in half, then cut a hexagonal piece in half and from this,cut into slices.
